The best healthcare system is the one that you run
When we say “high-quality care,” we mean it. Join a highly specialized on-demand network of over 1,000 women’s and children’s healthcare providers—the largest of its kind in the country—and help patients get the care they deserve.
Due to high volume, Maven will now be processing applications on an as-needed, rolling basis. As such, response and approval times may vary. If you have already submitted your application or would like to do so now, we will keep you notified with periodic updates.
Two ways to join us
If you’re invited to join Maven, you’re in great company! Only one third of applicants are invited into our network. See patients on Maven’s platform, get patients referred to your in-person practice, and join a community of exceptional practitioners.
Maven Diamond
Expand your practice through Maven’s proprietary, secure telehealth platform: MPractice. As a Maven Diamond Practitioner, you will meet with patients through video chat and private messaging on Maven. You will also have the option to receive in-person referrals.
Maven Platinum
Expand your practice through Maven’s highly curated community of in-person providers. Members are referred to Maven Platinum Practitioners when needs or preference extend beyond telemedicine. You will not provide care via telemedicine or receive payments through Maven.
How Maven works
1. Apply
Our practitioner advisory committee will evaluate your knowledge, skills, and experience through a multi-step process that includes a resume review and license verification, reference checks, a timed assessment, and a video interview.
2. Set your schedule
Maven was designed with busy practitioners in mind—you set your own schedule (down to the minute!) and patients can book with you when you’re available.
3. Connect with patients and build relationships
See patients via video chat on your mobile device, then E-prescribe and document easily and securely via Maven’s Session Notes on your laptop. Patients can follow-up via private messaging, and you can participate in our Community Forum anytime.
4. Deliver coordinated care
Maven is passionate about providing transparent and coordinated care by allowing patients to share their session notes across practitioners and facilitating in-person referrals and care coordination whenever needed.
FAQs
Why telehealth?
You may not know it yet, but telehealth is already in high demand and is rapidly growing in popularity. According to a 2017 survey by Accenture, 78% of consumers were interested in receiving care virtually.1 At the same time, the average wait for a new patient to see an OB-GYN for an exam was 26 days in 2017—a nearly 53% increase from the 17-day average reported in 20142 and over 50% of adults with mental health concerns did not receive any treatment in 2016.3
The writing is on the wall: consumers are looking for compassionate healthcare providers to get the care they need in a new way that feels right to them. If you have a passion for changing healthcare and a desire to grow your practice and earn supplemental income, it's time to make Maven your telehealth home.

What can I do on Maven?
While you can't examine your clients in person on Maven, you can provide important care via video appointment—including prescribing, diagnosing, advice, patient education, behavior modification, and emotional support and encouragement.
How do I become a Maven Practitioner?
Just sign up below, and we'll get you started. To ensure quality care, Maven evaluates the knowledge, skills, and experience of every practitioner on our platform. Together with other screening processes, a brief assessment and case study help us to thoroughly evaluate our candidates. Every candidate is also required to complete a short, video-based interview with a Maven healthcare consultant. Once you’re a Maven practitioner, you're in good company.
How much can I earn as a Maven Practitioner?
There are standard per-appointment payment rates less operating fees for platform use and professional liability insurance. You will receive an exact breakdown upon acceptance! Ultimately, your earnings depend on how much time you have available. If, for instance, you work 8 hours per week on Maven's platform, you can expect to earn a substantial amount of supplemental income.
How do I receive payments?
Maven Diamond Practitioners will receive payments for Maven appointments via direct deposit into your bank account every month. Because Maven Professionals are in-person referrals only, you will not collect payments through Maven, but through your own practice.
Do I need to practice via telehealth to be a Maven practitioner?
Maven was built to connect healthcare professionals to clients through a video and messaging connection—providing high quality care anytime, anywhere. Most Maven practitioners choose to practice through Maven in this way, and are part of the Maven Diamond network, which includes both online and optional in-person referrals. However, if your personal or professional schedule does not allow for telemedicine consults at this time, you are still welcome to sign up to be part of the Maven in-person referral network. In order to do so, please log your interest and professional information by selecting the Maven Platinum option below. Maven is committed to providing our clients access to high-quality care, and sometimes this takes the form of high-quality in-person referral lists for local clients.
