Maven named to FierceHealthcare's Fierce 15 of 2020
Maven was named to FierceHealthcare’s Fierce 15 of 2020 list today, which recognizes 15 “companies around the U.S. that are trying to change the world by changing the healthcare industry”. We’re thrilled to be recognized among other leading health startups focused on building better care delivery models and improving outcomes. For the second annual awards list, FierceHealthcare highlights companies that are “embracing the patient as a consumer who is seeking a better experience from healthcare”.
FierceHealthcare highlights that Maven tripled in size last year to offer care to 5 million women and families, opening access to 1,700 providers in 20 different specialties in our virtual clinic.
Maven is recognized for filling critical gaps in care for women, who “make up the dominant customer base in healthcare”, by providing on-demand access to providers, and partnering with employers and health plans to deliver better member experiences, improve outcomes, and lower costs. FierceHealthcare calls out Maven’s “end-to-end support” that provides personalized platforms to support members through preconception, egg freezing, IVF/IUI, adoption, surrogacy, miscarriage, pregnancy, postpartum, early pediatrics, return-to-work, and breast milk shipping.
“We take care of the whole person,” Maven Founder and CEO Kate Ryder told FierceHealthcare. “That’s the big issue driving us.”
